I'm arriving after 9pm on a Thursday and leaving Saturday morning. Basically looking for somewhere nice but not too expensive if paying cash. I also have Points with pretty much every hotel programme and am happy to use them if there's a standout redemption though.

So what they're saying is, that if your little suitcase doesn't fit under the seat, you will pay a £6 charge to put it in the overhead bin.

And if the stewards say it has to go into the hold, you pay £10.

This is supposedly because the current process causes delays - but Ryanair already have a great record in that department. Far better than other airlines like BA.

I use Ryanair to get to Dublin, but I might have to switch to Aer...

In 2020 I booked a holiday to the USA for late 2021. Room rates for the Marriott hotel where we wanted to stay were quite high, but because we got a ridiculously good deal for our flights we didn't mind so much.

(It was of course a speculative booking because no one knew at that point when or how quickly a vaccine would roll out and hence when it would be safe to travel again, but the hotel was cancellable up until the day before, and the flights are rearrangeable.)

The limit is 55cm by 40 by 20. Mine fits - except for the handle and wheels which stick out a bit.

This is only a short hop to Dublin. Are they likely to accost me prior to boarding and ask for a £50 fee?
