      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I&#039;m going to be in Madrid for a short time and haven&#039;t been before so am looking for some tips on best part of town to stay, any &#039;must sees&#039; etc.<br />

I&#039;m arriving after 9pm on a Thursday and leaving Saturday morning. Basically looking for somewhere nice but not too expensive if paying cash. I also have Points with pretty much every hotel programme and am happy to use them if there&#039;s a standout redemption though. <br />

I&#039;d prefer to be somewhere near lots of good tapas bars etc, but won&#039;t be having...<br />

So what they&#039;re saying is, that if your little suitcase doesn&#039;t fit under the seat, you will pay a £6 charge to put it in the overhead bin.<br />

And if the stewards say it has to go into the hold, you pay £10.<br />

This is supposedly because the current process causes delays - but Ryanair already have a great record in that department. Far better than other airlines like BA.<br />

In 2020 I booked a holiday to the USA for late 2021. Room rates for the Marriott hotel where we wanted to stay were quite high, but because we got a ridiculously good deal for our flights we didn&#039;t mind so much.<br />
<br />
(It was of course a speculative booking because no one knew at that point when or how quickly a vaccine would roll out and hence when it would be safe to travel again, but the hotel was cancellable up until the day before, and the flights are rearrangeable.)<br />

The bulk of the trip is straightforward. 1 week in SIN and 2 weeks on Bali. However I&#039;m not quite sure WHEN to position back to SIN. Flight costs are the same but here are my options:<br />
